The Regiment have two games remaining on their final road trip of the season.

Maddex Marmulak, Will Reynolds and Tyson Goguen each found the back of the net for the Newfoundland Regiment on Thursday, but the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies outlasted the Regiment 4-3 at Arena Glencore, ending the Regiment’s season-long point streak at 10 games.

The Huskies jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first period, but the Regiment battled back to tie the game at 2-2 just after the mid-way point of the second period.

Rouyn-Noranda replied with two more goals before the start of the third period to seal the Regiment’s fate.

The Regiment now have two games remaining on their final road trip of the season.

The club will now return to Val d’Or for another meeting with the Foreurs on Saturday afternoon. Newfoundland defeated Val d’Or 5-2 earlier on this road trip on March 4.

Newfoundland will conclude its road trip on Sunday afternoon with one final meeting against the Huskies.

When the Regiment return home, there will be just four games remaining on their regular season schedule. The next home game is March 14 against the Moncton Wildcats.
