WEST SENIOR SEMI-FINALS: Cataracts take 2-0 series lead over Royals with 5-2 win

The Grand Falls-Windsor Cataracts found themselves trailing to the Corner Brook Royals after the first period, but responded by scoring five consecutive goals en route to a 5-2 win over the Royals at Joe Byrne Memorial Stadium in Grand Falls on Saturday.

Brent Broaders, Michael Poirier (2G), Sean Rodgers and Jonathan Coffey all scored for the Cataracts, while goaltender Domenic Graham stood tall with 44 saves.

Andrew Antle and Colby House replied for Corner Brook.

Game Three is scheduled for Friday, February 20 at 8:00 p.m. at the Corner Brook Civic Centre.
