WEST SENIOR SEMI-FINALS: Deer Lake scorers stay hot in Game Two win over Stephenville

Jonny Anderson recorded a four-point night (1G, 3A) while Ethan Hoffe and Peyton Hoyt each recorded a goal and two assists as the Deer Lake Red Wings downed the Stephenville Lightning 8-3 at the Hodder Memorial Rec Centre on Saturday night.

Jaykob Stone stopped 28 of the 31 shots he faced to help Deer Lake to a 2-0 series lead over the Lightning.

Deer Lake has now scored 17 goals through just two games of the series, but have also given up nine themselves.

Game Three is scheduled for Friday, February 20 at 8:00 p.m. at the Stephenville Dome.
