Rogues swept in season-opening series against Montreal

Tunda pull away in second half to push Rogues to 0-2 start.

The Newfoundland Rogues dropped a 124–105 decision to the Montreal Tundra on Saturday night at the Mary Brown’s Centre, sliding to 0–2 after back-to-back losses in their season-opening series against a formidable Tundra squad.

Newfoundland came out strong, leading after the first quarter, but momentum shifted as Montreal kicked into another gear in the second. The Tundra took control from there and never looked back, steadily extending their lead the rest of the way.

Dedric Boyd led all scorers for the second straight night with 25 points for the Rogues. Montreal once again showcased its depth, with Jeremy Hayes pacing the Tundra with 19 points in another balanced offensive effort.
