EAST SENIOR SEMI-FINALS: Blues complete sweep of Caribous with double-OT dagger

The Conception Bay Blues are moving on to the Avalon East Senior Hockey League finals.

Nicklas Lindstrom found the back of the net at 17:04 of the second overtime period to help the Blues defeat the Clarenville Caribous 2-1 at the Clarenville Events Centre in Game Four of the AESHL semi-finals.

Bradley Connors also scored for the Blues, while Kyle Robinson scored the lone goal for Clarenville.

The win was the fourth straight for the Blues, who await the winner of the other semi-final series between the St. John’s Senior Caps and Southern Shore Breakers.
