Want a piece of NL baseball history?

St. John’s native Jaida Lee has been enjoying a stellar rookie season as a member of the New York Heights of the Women’s Pro Baseball League (WPBL), and local sports fans now have an opportunity to take home a rare piece of memorabilia from one of the province’s biggest rising stars. 

Through an official WPBL auction hosted by TheRealest.com, Lee’s game worn jersey from her relief appearances against the Boston Hunters on August 9 and the Los Angeles Queens on August 29 is now on the auction block. 

When bidding opened on September 9, it quickly gained traction from fans and collectors alike, and exploded far beyond its opening bid of $10. 

At the time of publication, Lee’s jersey has amassed 16 bids and counting. Bidding currently stands at $450 USD.
