Sharkey’s 25th goal helps Regiment down Eagles

Newfoundland Regiment forward Dawson Sharkey reached the 25-goal mark for the first time in his junior career on Friday night as the Regiment downed the Cape Breton Eagles 4-1 at the Mary Brown’s Centre.

The win was the Regiment’s sixth in a row.

Maddex Marmulak was named first star of the game with a goal and an assist, while Sharkey, Liam Arsenault and Tyson Goguen rounded out the scoring for Newfoundland.

Louis-Antoine Denault picked up the win in goal with 33 saves, while Connor Towle collected 35 saves in goal for the Eagles.
